Job Description The key to a successful economy is the development of safe and efficient transport networks. Intelligent transport systems play an increasingly important role in improving our transport systems, through enhancing the mobility of people, data provision, improving safety and reducing environmental impact. The Technology Services Engineering and Consultancy team provide services from feasibility studies through detailed design to post installation analysis for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). The scope of work includes connected and autonomous vehicles, road traffic and communications systems, and integrated transport elements of smart cities, working throughout the UK, and internationally. Mott MacDonald helps clients deliver high-quality transport technology solutions across local roads, the highway network, and public transport. We are seeking a graduate to join the team in the UK to work on projects both nationally and internationally. We require design and engineering skills across the entire ITS spectrum to develop and implement solutions for local, national, and international projects. Projects range from high-profile smart motorways schemes and autonomous vehicles through automatic fare collection systems to local equipment installation, such as variable message signs, CCTV, and vehicle detectors. less than 12 months relevant experience
(excluding placements) and have a degree (obtained
