About the Role
As an English Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons that inspire a love for English language and literature. Plan and assess work to ensure every student can reach their full potential. Support students of varying abilities, encouraging confidence and critical thinking. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative and inclusive teaching strategies. Contribute to the school community, promoting the value of English in education.
About You
We are looking for someone who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Has a degree in English or a closely related subject. Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching. Possesses strong classroom management and communication skills. Is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Preferred qualifications and experience: Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Knowledge of the GCSE English curriculum and experience with exam preparation. A willingness to participate in extracurricular activities.
