January 30, 2025 We are currently partnering with a bespoke fit-out contractor working on a high-security banking fit-out project in Bournemouth. Due to continued success, they are seeking a Site Manager to join them on a Data Centre Project over the next 25 weeks. Responsibilities

Oversee high spec office fit out and data / M+E sub contractors on site:

Ensure everything is installed according to design specifications and industry standards. Coordinate with Contractors and Teams:

Act as the main point of contact between the construction staff and external contractors, ensuring smooth communication and coordination to avoid delays and conflicts during the installation process. Monitor Work Progress and Quality:

Regularly inspect the work being performed to ensure it meets quality standards, adheres to the project timeline, and complies with safety and design requirements for ICT systems. Manage Equipment and Resources:

Oversee the management and allocation of resources on-site, ensuring that materials are available when needed and properly stored to prevent damage or loss. Ensure Compliance:

Ensure that all subcontractor works comply with relevant industry standards, best practices, and regulations as well as any specific requirements for the data centre. Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues:

Act as the first point of contact for resolving technical issues on-site, troubleshooting problems quickly to avoid delays and ensure the project stays on track. Requirements

You will ideally come from a construction management, engineering, or apprenticeship route background, be educated to degree level or similar NVQ level, with a sharp eye for detail and quality throughout. You will be forward-thinking and resourceful, possessing the ability to plan ahead, identify and resolve issues, work well within a team, see the big picture, with a positive, 'get it right first time' approach. You will possess your SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications for this role. You must have 2+ years experience in data centre/commercial banking fit-out projects in the past. High standards, attention to detail, and the drive will be very well rewarded with an excellent salary, benefits, promotional and development prospects.
