Network Security Engineer

Excellent opportunity for Network Security Engineer to be part of our Cloud Infrastructure & Security services practice. Cognizant Infrastructure Services – Provides IT infrastructure & Cloud services for clients across industry verticals, including both Consulting/Professional and Managed Services, across Enterprise Computing, Cloud services, Security Services, DevOps, Data Centres, End User Computing, Service Desk, Network Services and Environment Management Services. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support network security projects. Provide expertise in routing and switching (R&S). Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support. Design, support, configure, and implement network & security infrastructures. Support the development of automation with network security hardware which includes firewalls, proxies, VPN, NAC, and DNS services. Contribute to troubleshooting and restoring service. Collaborate with other teams within the technical infrastructure and security teams. Deliver technical briefings and proofs-of-concepts to stakeholders at every level within the business. Use diagnostic testing software and equipment to identify causes of networking issues. Research and assess strategies on infrastructure, hardware/software, networking products and security. Work hands-on with Zscaler zero-trust platforms, F5 Load Balancer, Aruba Wireless, and Checkpoint firewalls. Key Skills and Experience: Extensive experience working with network security infrastructures at an enterprise level. Strong experience with various network topologies and protocols, as well as routing protocols. F5 Load balancer Aruba Wireless Checkpoint Firewall Infoblox Extreme/Ruckus switching and routing (CLI) experience Seniority Level
