Our location We’re a Scottish start-up with a dynamic team of 125 colleagues across the UK, with offices in Dundee and Edinburgh. This is a field-based role focused on national retailer growth, requiring daily travel across key regions in the UK. About the team Our Central Sales team attracts and engages top-tier retailers to join the Snappy platform. We pride ourselves on understanding the needs of the sector and selecting retailers who will thrive on our platform, working closely with them to ensure their ongoing success. About the Role As

Head of Sales , your mission is to lead and grow our new store sales in the convenience channel, driving customer acquisition, GMV and revenues for Snappy Group. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on, front-line sales expertise to expand our retailer partnerships and drive the success of the Snappy marketplace. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategies to attract and sign high-quality independent retailers, meeting or exceeding agreed quarterly and annual sales targets. Leverage expertise in growing retailer sales, ensuring tailored approaches and scalable strategies to address unique challenges in the channel. Collaborate with Onboarding and Growth teams to ensure a seamless transition and successful retailer ramp-up. Set and monitor performance metrics, aligning team activities with broader company goals. Ensure the Sales Team is equipped with the best tools, such as CRM systems, data insights and sales pitches to drive impactful sales engagements. Inspire and motivate the team through clear communication, regular feedback and recognition of achievements. Continuously refine and optimise sales resources and processes to improve efficiency and success rates. Own and maintain robust pipeline of retailers, prioritising quality leads that align with Snappy Group's triage criteria.. Drive improvements in outbound lead generation, leveraging digital channels, social media and networking. Maintain engagement with newly signed retailers, conducting follow-ups during the first 12 weeks to identify growth opportunities and provide ongoing support. About You We’re looking for someone who: Has a proven track record as a Sales Leader with the ability to grow retailer sales through hands-on and strategic approaches. Has extensive experience in front-line sales, including face-to-face engagement with retailers, pitching and closing deals. Has successfully led and developed high-performing sales teams - a strong motivator who fosters innovation and accountability. Has a strong client-focused mindset with excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Possesses a solid grasp of sales metrics, performance measurements and technical indicators. Has strong analytical and strategic capabilities. Has decisive thinking and leadership abilities. Is skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution and presentations. Demonstrates dynamic and creative problem-solving abilities.
