Overview: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Intune, Entra ID, and Windows Operating Systems. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the organization’s infrastructure environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Key Responsibilities: Azure Administration:

Manage and support Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networks, storage, and security configurations. Assist in the implementation and optimization of Azure services and resources. Troubleshoot and resolve Azure-based infrastructure issues.

Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD):

Administer and maintain Active Directory and Azure AD environments, ensuring seamless authentication, user provisioning, and security compliance. Manage group policies, permissions, and directory synchronization between on-premises AD and Azure AD.

Intune Management:

Support the configuration, deployment, and management of devices via Microsoft Intune. Ensure secure and compliant management of mobile devices and workstations in line with organizational policies. Troubleshoot device-related issues and provide solutions.

Entra ID:

Administer and manage Entra ID (formerly Azure AD Identity Governance) for identity and access management. Configure policies related to identity protection, conditional access, and role-based access controls.

Windows Operating Systems:

Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems. Troubleshoot and resolve OS-related issues, including performance, security, and compatibility problems. Ensure compliance with patch management and security updates.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate documentation for infrastructure setups, configurations, and changes. Provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions.

Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role, with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure. Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, and Active Directory environments. Proficiency in managing mobile devices and endpoints using Microsoft Intune. Knowledge and experience with Entra ID for identity and access management. Solid understanding of Windows Server and Windows Desktop operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks is highly desirable. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or similar are a plus. Desirable Skills: Familiarity with networking protocols and troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.). Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
