Electoral and Democratic Services Manager . This role will be leading a small and friendly team in managing the delivery of electoral and democratic services in an ambitious rural authority. Our role:

In addition to your area of direct responsibility of Elections and Democratic Services, you will be part of the Council’s Senior Management Team and will be involved in corporate projects where your ideas and challenges will be welcome. You will report directly to the Director of Governance and Corporate Services and will work alongside the Returning Officer during election periods. Who we are:

Enthusiasm, flexibility and solid all-round knowledge of electoral law and practice is a must as you will need to understand the challenges an election period can bring. You may be early in your career as a manager, so if you have the professional technical knowledge, we can help develop your skills to support you to bring the best out of your team and develop your own skill set.
