An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technical Support Engineer in Hatfield. Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for rail systems and equipment, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with maintenance teams to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for rail systems and equipment. Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure trains and rail infrastructure remain in optimal condition. Diagnose issues and recommend repairs to minimize downtime and improve performance. Conduct inspections, root cause analysis, and system diagnostics. Provide technical advice and training to on-site maintenance staff. Manage and update maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Essential Requirements:

Proven experience in rail systems maintenance or a related engineering field. Strong technical knowledge of rail machinery, systems, and safety protocols. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure. Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both engineers and non-technical staff. Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Electrical, or Mechanical disciplines (HNC, HND, or equivalent). Desirable:
