About the Role
As a CNC Offline Programmer, you'll play a key role in creating efficient and accurate CNC programs to support production. Working with cutting-edge 5-axis machines and exotic materials, you'll utilise your experience and programming knowledge to ensure high standards of precision and quality.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing):
A solid grasp of this is essential for ensuring precision in your programming.
Experience with FeatureCam or Fusion360:
Familiarity with these software packages is preferred, but experience with other CAD/CAM systems will also be considered.
5-Axis Programming Expertise:
Experience programming up to 5-axis CNC machines is critical.
Machining Exotics:
Knowledge and experience working with challenging materials such as titanium, Inconel, and other high-performance alloys.
Continuous Improvement Mindset:
A good understanding of continuous improvement principles and a proactive approach to enhancing manufacturing processes.
