Job Description
Responsibility for risk team input into client and supplier contract reviews and preparation of tenders.
Managing conflict escalations and queries from the Client and Matter Inception team and the firm.
Wider experience of managing client and supplier contract review process ideal.
Assisting with internal investigations and SRA engagement.
Providing compliance training across the firm.
Supporting the Audit & Risk Committee with its rolling agenda and assisting in reporting to the Board at least annually on the Committee's activities.
Assisting with annual Practicing Certificate renewal process.
Maintaining and updating policies such as ABC, Modern Slavery and CFA.
Assisting the Director of Risk and Compliance with additional compliance reporting and analysis.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have the following:
Qualified lawyer, 2+ PQE
Prior experience in a risk and compliance role, either in-house or within a law firm
Strong knowledge and understanding of SRA regulations
