Key Responsibilities: Manage complex civil and commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and provide expert legal advice. Represent clients in court, mediations, and negotiations. Ensure compliance with legal standards and firm policies. Build strong client relationships and provide strategic counsel. Mentor and supervise junior team members. Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive legal solutions. Stay updated on litigation trends and contribute to business development efforts.
Requirements: Significant experience in civil and commercial litigation, with a proven track record in handling complex cases. Exceptional advocacy and negotiation skills, including experience in representing clients in court and alternative dispute resolution settings. Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills. Excellent organisational and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Strong client relationship management skills. High professional integrity and ethical standards. Experience with contentious trust and estates is highly desirable, particularly given the firm's high-net-worth client base.
