Role Overview:

As a Management Accountant, you'll report directly to the Head of Management Accounts and play a crucial role in delivering accurate and timely management accounts. You will support the financial health of several accounts within the group, ensuring revenue and costs are accurately reflected in our accounts and contributing to the growth and stability of the organization.

Key responsibilities:

Timely production of monthly management accounts. Review and completion of balance sheet reconciliations. Ensure revenue and costs are recognised in the correct periods. Support the onboarding of new acquisitions and prepare their management accounts. Investigate significant monthly cost variations. Ownership of utilities cost line for the group. Ownership of Onecard across the group. Ownership of cashcard and Webex processes. Identify and implement improved financial processes and controls. Assist with projects and statutory account queries. Support the audit process and provide ad-hoc analysis/reporting as and when required. Support the accounts assistant for your region.

Candidate specifications:

Part qualified CIMA/ACCA ideal but not essential. Strong background in preparing management accounts within tight deadlines. Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to design and interpret spreadsheets. Excellent communication, able to build strong relationships with non-finance staff. Team player. Highly organised. Strong analytical skills. Adaptable.

Benefits and hours:

Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience. Potential for study support for the right candidate. 37.5 working hours per week with flexible start and finish times. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
