Monday to Friday 08:30-4pm, (No hybrid working).
Day to Day
Produce Timely & Accurate Management Information to satisfy group and local deadlines, examples being:
Weekly Production Cost Analysis – Standard v Actual // Actual v Budget // Actual v Prior Year
Weekly Stock Variance Analysis – Where & Why? What are the Drivers? Identify areas for Improvements & work with stakeholders to close our actions
Weekly PPV Analysis
Review Trends and Challenge current performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
Establish strong understanding of production plant product cost variances and fixed cost drivers
Drive accuracy and continuity of plant operational performance measurement
Ensure adherence to internal control & compliance to financial policies & procedures
Collaborate with supply chain, DAMPE, and GASP teams for plant activities and planning
Cost Accounting
Check material dependent data (BOM, price, product version…) and support Material Key Users to accurately record them
Monitor fixed cost evolution by cost centre and nature of expenses
Raise issues before month closes in PPV/MUV and Inventory valuation and drive relevant functions for resolution
Analyse and ensure accruals are posted in the appropriate month and financial accounts
Month End Reporting
Revaluation of Standards – Intercompany & Third Party Prior to close
Month End Deliverables – On Time in Full P&L and Balance Sheet with Analysis, Commentary & Bridges [MoM; V Prior Year & V Budget] to tight deadlines
Support with P&L entries and analysis – L15 Std & WAC / L18 Other Margin / L06 Freight Out / L07 Logistics & Warehousing / L21 Operations, and any non-recurring costs relating to these areas.
Validation of CLOCO Activities (Validation of monthly processes for Shared Services) for all ‘FP&A sites’ including:
Std Cost Validation
WAC Validation
Stock provisions
Production Order closing
Others as required
Compliance
Hold the Business to the Internal Controls Framework ensuring compliance from self & others.
Ensures that plant is compliant with internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations
Adhere to established Group processes and methodologies
Support HES policy and plant safety and cyber security objectives, participate in HES activities (e.g., Behavioural Base Safety, Safe Start, etc.)
Support and promote the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors in finance, accounting, or other relevant field with minimum 3-year experience in an industrial finance / manufacturing environment. (PQ / QBE may be considered)
Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and EPA guidelines and Bostik specific EHS expectations.
ERP experience (SAP preferred), knowledge of metrics / KPI
