The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, is seeking a passionate and innovative Programmes Manager to join our dynamic Programming team. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in bringing the beauty and importance of plants and fungi to life through awe-inspiring events and creative collaborations. This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary producer with experience in delivering large-scale, high-profile outdoor programmes and events. Whether it’s developing and delivering dynamic art installations, creating festivals that draw large numbers of visitors or designing engaging indoor programming within iconic Grade-listed spaces, you’ll bring ideas to life that delight and inspire our two million annual visitors. This role requires Enhanced DBS + Adult & Child Barred List checks. Key Responsibilities

Experience:

A background in commissioning and delivery of large-scale events, artworks, or festivals, notably in outdoors spaces, as well as complex indoor or listed venues. Creative Vision:

The ability to translate complex ideas into engaging and accessible experiences for all ages and backgrounds. Stakeholder Savvy:

Confidence working with a wide range of external partners, including artists, fabricators, scientists, and sponsors and colleagues across departments. Results-Oriented:

A proven ability to deliver impactful programmes on time, within budget, and aligned to ambitious commercial deliverables. Interviews: First round:

5 and 6 March 2025. Second round:

19 - 20 March 2025. This role is based at Kew with the option of home working. However, this role requires a minimum of 2 days working on site and full weeks for defined periods of time, including weekends and evenings during event builds or after hours. About Us
