We are looking for an experienced Payroll professional to join our UK HR team. Reporting to the UK & Ireland HR Director, the Payroll Specialist will play a central role in managing and optimising the third party payroll system, ensuring that every aspect of payroll runs seamlessly across the UK and ROI (2 x weekly pay runs and 2 x monthly). Closely collaborating with the HR team and line managers to deliver accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services. WHAT YOU’LL DO

Be the first line contact, data provider and checker between Fiskars and the 3rd party payroll provider Ensure bank files are processed on time via liaison with central Finance teams Manually calculate sick pay entitlements in accordance with Company policies Upload / report third party information and liaise with relevant providers Ensure payroll practices comply with relevant laws and regulations Stay updated on legislative changes affecting payroll and pensions Liaise with employees and Managers where applicable Communicate updates or changes in payroll processes to employees and Managers Perform regular payroll audits WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for an experienced payroll professional who has previous knowledge of processing both UK & ROI payrolls with a relevant payroll (CIPP) / Finance qualification. You must have an up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and preferably a knowledge of working with a third party payroll provider, Workday as a HCM system, time and attendance systems and a working knowledge of employee benefits (ie pension, life assurance, medical benefits etc). Proficient MS Office skills are essential. TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
