This is a fantastic chance for a HR professional to join the people team in a leading media company. THE COMPANY Our Client is a world-class production and broadcast organisation producing a diverse portfolio of factual content, from broadcast news and podcasts to feature-length documentaries. THE ROLE As the People Relations Manager, you will be pivotal in helping to establish and maintain key strategies, policies and procedures to ensure inclusive employee relations. Key responsibilities: Provide counsel to senior management regarding complex employee relations issues and matters related to disciplinaries, grievances and performance management. Develop and maintain employee relations strategies, policies and procedures that align with company guidelines. Coach team leaders and line managers on people development skills, focusing on ER processes and principals. Manage tribunals efficiently and create case management strategies for tribunal claims including risk identification. Develop ER framework for freelancers and ensure that managers are trained on the engagement with freelancers. Monitor changes to employment law and trends in employee relations, ensuring that all policies, templates and procedures are compliant and up to date. Support the wider People team with delivery of HR initiatives in line with the HR strategy. THE PERSON To excel in this role, you will have extensive experience working across employee relations with strong generalist HR experience as well.
