Job Summary This position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to enhance or begin their career in pharmacy. We are looking to recruit a Pharmacy Dispenser/Robot Dispensing Technician to join our team. This position is full-time, permanent, operating Monday to Friday with an alternate Saturday working pattern. Pharmacy experience is preferred but not essential. Full training will be given for the robot processes and also pharmacy dispenser training via Buttercup Training course NVQ level 2. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will be rotated in our dispensary and in our robot department. The dispenser will work under the direct supervision of the pharmacist and will carry out day-to-day activities in our dispensary and Robot department. Being computer literate is an essential skill within this position. The dispenser's main role in the robot department will be to maintain adequate stock levels and replenish the stock within the robot, using the computer system to dispense the compliance aids in a timely manner and communicating with our other branches if amendments are needed. During the time spent in the dispensary, you will carry out similar activities which include assembling and labeling prescribed medication, providing advice and selling over-the-counter medication, responding to queries and questions from patients (face to face or by telephone), assisting in providing pharmacy services such as smoking cessation, pharmacy first, and chronic medication service. You will also carry out stock management tasks which include ordering and storing. You will need to understand the importance of complying with and maintaining customer confidentiality. Must Have Skills: Have a keen interest in healthcare and helping patients Happy working as part of a team Have excellent communication skills and customer-facing experience Should be computer literate Have good attention to detail and work in a methodical manner Good organizational skills Able to follow operating procedures and processes Pay is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
