Speech and Language Therapist , you will deliver personalised speech, language, and communication therapy to individuals and groups of children aged 4-19, including those with complex autism and learning difficulties. This role is suited to candidates with Band 6-level experience, but applications from those seeking a Band 5/6 development opportunity are also welcome. You will be responsible for: Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement effective, personalised care plans. Offer expert advice to teaching staff to support students' communication development and improve overall outcomes. Regularly review and update speech and language targets, monitor intervention effectiveness through data analysis. Contribute to annual reviews, EHCP reports, and transition planning. Provide both direct and indirect therapy, ensuring tailored and effective support for all pupils. What we are looking for: Previously worked as a Speech and Language Therapist, Speech Therapist or in a similar role. Experience in working with children with autism and complex needs, or transferrable skills from related fields. Background in undertaking specialist assessments of communication. Experience in supporting AAC use, including both low and high-tech systems. HCPC registration. Certified member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
