Senior Support Worker Children’s Home – Leicestershire

Senior Residential Support Worker, Children's Home Leicester £27,040 + £50 per sleep-in I am looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to support children and young people in a small fantastic residential home for children and young people in Leicester. In this Senior role you will: Be responsible for providing day to day care for children and young people Work as part of a dedicated, ensuring that care teams are maintaining their therapeutic approach and providing direct work with the children Lead shifts and manage a staff team Assist in leading staff to operate within legal parameters Ensure the home is kept to a good standard, including cooking and cleaning and of course safeguarding welfare at all times Support the business, clinical and social development of the service To be successful in this Senior role you will need: NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent) A minimum of 2 Years experience In residential care Experience of working with young people who have challenging behaviours Experience of leading shifts Experience of supervising care staff The ability to work to a rota, including days, sleep-ins, weekends and statutory holidays A full UK Manual driving licence For more information, please call Elite Care on (phone number removed).
