Primary School Job Description The school is a mixed school catering for pupils aged between 4-11 years old with Autism. Most pupils also have Autism, SLD, and additional physical and sensory disabilities. The ideal SEND teacher will be a dedicated and creative educator with demonstrable SEND knowledge. Primary school teachers with a passion for SEND are welcome to apply. As a SEND Teacher, you should have an innovative and flexible approach to teaching. Alongside the staff, you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people. The successful SEND teacher's day-to-day role will include delivering creative and person-centred lessons to up to 8 learners in a pre-formal class.
