Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive dental hygiene treatments, including scaling, polishing, and root planing Conduct thorough oral health assessments and develop personalised treatment plans Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care Administer local anaesthesia and place temporary fillings as needed Collaborate closely with dentists and other team members to ensure optimal patient care Utilise digital radiography and 3D scanning equipment for diagnostic purposes Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Assist in the management of dental emergencies Stay current with the latest advancements in dental hygiene and therapy practices Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment What do you get in return?

Bachelor's degree in Dental Therapy or equivalent qualification Valid GDC registration as a Dental Hygiene/Therapist Current licence to practise as a Dental Therapist in the United Kingdom Proven experience in a dental hygiene and therapy role Proficiency in using digital radiography and 3D scanning equipment Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current dental hygiene and therapy practices Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements Empathetic and patient-centred approach to care Keen attention to detail and strong organisational skills Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs
