Department: GRS Business Agility | Office of Operations Team: UX Domain Location: London, UK About the Role: We are seeking a Lead Product Designer with a passion for crafting exceptional user experiences and a track record for delivering beloved products from concept to launch. As a senior member of our design team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional and global teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and elevate our product offerings to best-in-class insurance experiences. As a Lead Product Designer you’ll be responsible for planning, developing, designing, and implementing strategies for complex businesses and customer processes. In this role, the Lead Product Designer is expected to have team management experience. This role will be reporting to the Head of Digital Product Design and User Experience. Interested candidates will demonstrate superior knowledge of UX best practices along with the ability to express these design principles and generate consensus and excitement over their vision. They will also have the ability to win hearts and minds around user-centered design and the criticality of UX. Key Responsibilities:

You’ll work with business, technology, product, and user research teams to understand the business vision, objectives, and transformation plans to help identify opportunities for competitive advantage. You’ll be responsible for designing and/or delivering user experience solutions and capabilities across new and existing digital channels, platforms, and ecosystems. You’ll plan the UX tasks and strategy to be delivered in the most efficient way, following agile best practices. You’ll analyze cross-organizational experiences to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities to improve and innovate. You’ll provide UX input to assist with product investment decisions, product strategy, and product roadmap development across a number of portfolios. You’ll create and/or deliver user-centered design solutions for internal and external-facing experiences that feature ease of use, employ best-in-class interaction design, and optimize the user experience. You’ll work alongside other product designers on the team to help advance how we promote the craft of UX across the organization. You may lead, manage, and mentor a team of product designers and work together with them on their development and projects assigned to them to achieve and successfully deliver objectives. Skills and Experience:

Experience using methodologies such as Agile, Design Thinking, Lean UX. Ability to design, create, and work towards an overall product design vision that meets and enhances user experiences and business goals. Relevant experience as a lead and designer with demonstrable track record of complex design solutions. Proficiency in Visual design, UX design, prototyping, front-end development process knowledge, user research, and/or experiment design. Experience in working on multiple integrations and operationally complicated software. Proven experience of branding implementation, design systems, style guides, UX patterns, and workflows. Be confident using popular design, prototyping, discovery, and user testing methods and tools such as Figma, Miro, Lucid. Experience with Unmoderated/Moderated User testing. Experience using data analytics for monitoring performance and action optimization decisions. Comfortable interacting with all levels of the company. Proven ability to present projects and status reports to senior management. Strong organization and analytic thinking skills, with ability to translate complex content into user scenarios, flows, and diagrams. Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience working in Agile environments and with Development teams. Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Highly skilled at critical decision-making; ability to evaluate business issues and resolve problems. Ability to consider long-term sustainability in all design decisions and maintain an eye for reusability in designs. Experience facilitating and collaborating with multiple product managers with specialized responsibilities. Understand Accessibility standards and how they impact design and product development.
