Financial Controller - Reading - Highly competitive package We Do Group are exclusively partnering with a market-leading organisation within the manufacturing sector for the recruitment of a Financial Controller. About the Role
- Your primary objective will be to ensure the company's financial stability and profitability while complying with relevant regulations and accounting standards alongside supporting Group initiatives. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the general ledger and sub ledgers Provide monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial analyses Prepare and consolidate financial statements and reports for global business units Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance Coordinate or assist with the budget and forecast process to support financial planning Effectively prepare reporting packages for Board meeting decks Handle month-end closing and reporting processes Analyze and report cost variances to provide insights into financial performance Support and develop finance team Respond to financial-related questions from employees and provide necessary support The Successful Applicant: ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualification 3+ years within the manufacturing sector (accounting or audit) Prior track record of managing a team and leading from the front Seniority level
