Detailed job description and main responsibilities The successful applicant will be expected to carry out all duties of a Paediatric Surgery Specialist Registrar, participating in a 1 in 8 compliant on-call rota and supporting the provision of the outreach service. There are a number of academic meetings in the department, frequently involving members of other disciplines. There are also separate meetings run by the neonatal, infectious diseases, community, and neurology teams. There is a regular programme of audit meetings, and very active programmes of clinic and research meetings in other departments throughout the medical school. All staff are invited to attend. To have responsibility for the Health, Safety and Welfare of self and others and to comply at all times with the requirement of the Health and Safety Regulations.
