Director of Finance Partnering to Cunard , you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic, forward-thinking team that’s transforming the way we create exceptional journeys for our guests. Role Overview In this critical role, you’ll partner closely with our marketing, sales, and revenue management teams, as well as some operational elements such as food, entertainment and hotel - using your expertise to guide key financial decisions and unlock new opportunities. Your insights will shape strategies, manage spend, and navigate risks to keep us on course for long-term success. But it’s not just about numbers. As a key player in Cunard’s leadership team, you’ll inspire a talented group of finance professionals, leading by example and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and performance. Your impact will stretch far beyond financial reports – you’ll be a driving force in realising the future of Cunard and its extraordinary voyages. Reporting to the VP of Finance Partnering and Reporting & Analytics, and as part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you’ll directly influence the strategic direction and financial vision of Cunard. Key accountabilities include: Act as a business partner to various departments, including marketing, sales, and revenue management, as well as some operational elements such as food, entertainment and hotel. Provide analytical support, including trend analysis and financial forecasting. Deliver financial insights and recommendations to help shape business strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide network of stakeholders. Influence and support teams in managing costs, identifying opportunities, and mitigating risks. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Requirements This role demands a blend of strategic vision & technical expertise. We're looking for someone with: Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent). Extensive experience in business partnering within a large corporate or consultancy environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to create complex financial models.
