Role Overview: Working as part of an integrated delivery team, you will play a key role in the design and development of features for our core system. You will plan and lead workstreams to build innovative solutions, utilising the latest Microsoft technologies and industry best practice. You will share your deep technical knowledge and passion for technology with the team, supporting and mentoring less experienced team members. You will have a strong attention to detail, pro-actively identifying opportunities to modernise or improve the solution, through code refactoring and peer review feedback.

Responsibilities: Ensure the successful delivery of complex projects by implementing software enhancements to both existing and new services. Translate requirements into high quality functioning code. Participate in regular project events and ceremonies, such as daily scrums, sprint planning and reviews, weekly customer calls, etc. Passionate for Microsoft technologies and keeps up to date with industry trends and certifications. Actively contribute to the team, pro-actively sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues. Clearly and effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders. About the candidate:

Minimum of 2.1 in Computer Science or closely related degree. Minimum 7+ years' experience as a software developer. Best practices: SOLID, DRY, DDD principles. Strong C#, Microsoft .NET development background. Azure cloud-native development: Platform-as-a-Service, Infrastructure-as-a-Service. Azure DevOps: CI/CD, build and release pipelines, YAML. REST and SOAP APIs and API Management, with microservices architectures. Distributed and event driven systems: Service Bus, Event Hubs. Databases and storage: Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Azure Table Storage. Data lake and analytics: Databricks. Web user experiences and SPAs: React, TypeScript, HTML 5, CSS. Experience of solution architecture and design: including security, data integrity and performance, as well as responsive, accessible user interfaces.
