Our global Talent Acquisition and Development (TA&D) team provides the most effective and efficient solutions for talent attraction, recruitment, selection, performance management and development for BGC Group, Cantor Fitzgerald and Newmark including all associated entities, across all levels of the firm. This role will be accountable for the full Talent Acquisition lifecycle across the shared services business functions including Risk, Finance, Operations, Legal, Internal Audit etc. Key responsibilities: Build strong relationships with prospective candidates and trusted partnerships with key business stakeholders Extensive CV sourcing on multiple job boards and websites, ensuring a continual pipeline of relevant candidates are available Collate CVs and provide a shortlist of suitable candidates for internal stakeholders Coordinating interviews between the candidate and respective business area Overseeing the preparation of job descriptions and advertisements Promote methods of direct Talent Acquisition Increasing the number of referrals and internal mobility Maintaining comprehensive tracking of hiring data Sending weekly reports to internal stakeholders on the status of their open requisitions Negotiating agency rates and producing terms of business Stays abreast of relevant legislation, considers its impact on the organisation’s, and recommends appropriate action Contributing to TA projects such as Oracle development/upgrades Working with wider HR: Communicating with both Employee Relations and wider HRBP team, ensuring a partnership approach to all stakeholders Support HR Assistants when managing high volumes of onboarding and contract generation Support and offer guidance and advice on talent pipelining and talent attraction across business areas Ensuring “At Risk” candidates are managed in tandem to Employee Relation processes Ensure correct authorizations are in place Skills / experience required: Prior Talent Acquisition experience within Financial Services is essential Knowledge and understanding of UK & EU Employment Law in relation to Talent Acquisition Experience using a variety of recruiting methods, such as social media websites and job boards Strong communication skills are essential in order to build relationships with candidates of all levels Previous experience using Oracle is advantageous Bachelor’s degree or previous experience are required Seniority level
