A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a

Laboratory Technician

for a permanent contract on behalf of our client, a leading fuels supplier based in Stanford le Hope. Duties and Responsibilities: Carry out and report analysis on fuel, components, pilots, and water samples, following both in-house and industry-standardized test methods. Blend a wide range of laboratory fuel blends and prepare additive solutions independently and consistently. Support the Laboratory Quality Management System. Calibrate and standardize laboratory equipment aligned with the Laboratory Quality Management System. Adhere to HSE guidelines and best practice guidelines. Requirements: Strong technical knowledge, communication, and organizational skills. Imaginative and creative approach to problem-solving. An interest in improving Quality Systems. High attention to detail and accuracy. HSE focused. Ideally a Degree in Chemistry (or equivalent). Experience of working in a laboratory is desirable. Familiarity with Fuels Laboratory Tests is preferred. Hours: Monday to Friday: 9am-5.30pm.
