The Compliance & Data Protection Lead plays a crucial role in the Audit and Compliance Team, ensuring organisational integrity and regulatory adherence. They will oversee GDPR compliance, manage audits, and enhance compliance frameworks. Acting as a key advisor, they will drive best practices across operations. This role requires a proactive and skilled professional who can balance technical expertise with practical implementation in a fast-paced environment. The Role: GDPR Compliance & Data Protection: Lead GDPR framework implementation, manage data privacy policies, oversee breach reporting, and ensure regulatory adherence while mitigating risks. Compliance Audits & Risk Management: Conduct audits beyond GDPR, assess regulatory controls, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions to enhance compliance and operational resilience. Compliance Framework & Policy Development: Design, improve, and enforce compliance frameworks and policies, ensuring alignment with regulations and fostering a strong culture of compliance. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work with departments to embed compliance into operations, provide training, stay ahead of regulatory changes, and drive ongoing compliance excellence. Key Requirements: Expert knowledge of GDPR and data protection laws. Proven experience in compliance audits and risk management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive reports. Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects.
