We are looking for a Head of Internal Communications with demonstrable experience of leading large-scale transformation business change programmes to drive the rolling communication plans for our Blended Experience Programme (BEP) - helping shape the future of our customer journey across digital and in-store platforms. As the Head of Communications, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our message resonates across the globe and reaches every corner of our business to enable the change to land successfully. In this role, you'll lead the creation and delivery of a global communications and engagement framework for BEP, ensuring alignment with Specsavers' strategic goals. You'll provide thought leadership in complex transformation communication, leveraging best practices and innovative approaches to engage and inform stakeholders. By fostering a programmatic approach to communication, you'll ensure consistency and coherence across all channels and touchpoints for multiple programme stages. Collaborating closely with the Programme Leadership team, you'll understand and address their communication needs, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement. Working in a matrix structure with country teams, you'll ensure local relevance and effectiveness of communication and engagement strategies. You'll drive insight-based improvements to the people experience through a global continuous listening approach, process, and tools. Proactively using communication and engagement trends and external good practices, you'll drive improvement and effectiveness in communications and engagement activities. Leading a team, you'll apply the latest thinking and methods to content and channels, including the use of technology. Creating open communication with key stakeholders, you'll inform and update them, building trust and respect through strong relationships. Using your demonstrable experience of working as part of a complex programme of business change, you'll develop, lead and deliver a global communications strategy aligned with our strategic goals. You'll collaborate with leadership to ensure effective stakeholder engagement. You'll drive continuous improvement through innovative communication practices and foster a culture of listening and inclusion, making every team and programme member feel valued and heard. Your expertise in scalable internal transformation programme communication, strategic thinking, and project management will be crucial in making this vision a reality.
