Oracle APEX Developer

to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of excellence. As an Oracle APEX Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle APEX applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the performance, scalability, security, and reliability of our applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle APEX applications. Technically lead solutions and be the main point of contact. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. Create and optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and APEX components. Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of APEX applications. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs. Provide customer support in line with service level agreements, which includes regular out of hours support. Provide technical guidance and support to other developers. Stay updated with the latest Oracle APEX features and best practices. Participate in both client and internal meetings. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field. Strong proficiency and demonstrable experience in Oracle APEX, SQL, and PL/SQL. Experience in Database Design / Data Modelling. Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful services. Knowledge of Oracle database architecture and performance tuning. Knowledge and experience of using version control tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Nice to have skills: Knowledge of Oracle ADB and Oracle OCI. Knowledge of ORDS. Knowledge of Azure DevOps. Experience using SQL Data Modeller or similar. Experience using PL/SQL Developer. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
