We’re looking for an experienced Agile Coach to join the Agile Centre of Excellence & Enablement to support the Organisation with its adoption and implementation of lean-agile and agility across the organisation and help in our transition to a product-based organisation. As an Agile Coach, you’ll be responsible for shaping an enduring Agile Strategy and “Ways of Working “and coaching and directing our Leaders, Scrum Masters and Teams on Agile Methodologies to achieve higher levels of agile maturity. In addition, the Agile Coach will be responsible for fostering collaboration, optimising processes, and helping teams deliver value to customers efficiently. The Agile Coach acts as a mentor, role model, trainer, and change agent to enable teams to reach their full potential in adopting Lean-Agile practices. The Agile Coach will ensure engagement with the external agile community via seminars and reading ensuring NFU Mutual “leads” in its adoption of Lean-Agile ways of working. About you

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate coaching and have experience in guiding, coaching, training and mentoring Leaders, Managers and Teams on Agile Methodologies, ways of working and product-based organisations. You’ll display a continuous improvement mindset and highlight opportunities to improve the team’s lean-agile capability. You’ll hold extensive knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks (Including ADO) such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, DevOps, and be knowledgeable about Agile techniques like: Estimating, User Stories and Continuous Integration. Setting up, coaching, and training new scrum teams in their adoption of NFU Mutual’s scaled agile operating model, guardrails and best practice ADO will form a key part of this role, whilst being able to work collaboratively and individually as required. You’ll also communicate effectively via your skills in both written and verbal forms. To be successful in this role, you’ll also have: Demonstrable equivalent industry experience within Agile Coaching (Essential). Industry experience in a scaled agile environment (Essential). General coaching qualification or internal coaching training (Essential). Prince2 Agile or DSDM project management, and Certified Scrum Professional Scrum Master (Desirable).
