Permanent This role is due to the promotion of the existing Maintenance Manager to Site Engineering Manager. As the Site Maintenance Manager, you will oversee a team of approximately 12 engineers. You will be responsible for maintenance activities and oversee the development and implementation of engineering initiatives to improve all elements of OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) and people development. Key Responsibilities – Site Maintenance Manager

Responsible for all maintenance engineering activities onsite. Devise and ensure a robust and responsive maintenance strategy. Implement and manage the maintenance budget. Ensure that the productive capability of the plant is optimised and improved. Create, implement and manage both maintenance and PPM plans. Monitor operational efficiency of all plant and equipment. Drive the engineering maintenance function to provide good manufacturing processes that comply with Health & Safety Standards. Leadership to ensure that people are kept safe and engaged. Prioritise health and safety, ensuring compliance with legislative standards and fostering a safe working environment for the maintenance team. Build and mentor a high-performing maintenance team, ongoing development and support. Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs to maximise equipment uptime and reliability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving techniques (e.g., TPM, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen). Qualifications and Requirements – Site Maintenance Manager

A recognised engineering qualification, with experience of managing engineers on shift or across wider factory services. A proven track record of meeting agreed performance targets. Lean Manufacturing experience and Knowledge – RCM/TPM. Demonstrating experience within a Manufacturing / Process engineering environment in an engineering maintenance leadership role. Ideally recognized safety management qualification (NEBOSH/IOSH). Proven experience in maintenance management and leadership. Strong understanding of maintenance best practices and improvement methodologies (TPM, Six Sigma, 5S). Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results. What we can offer – Site Maintenance Manager
