Managing and monitoring the department's risk management process to ensure the department is compliant with corporate and legal requirements. Managing risk and planned responses to incidents to ensure that the department delivers effective responses and has a high level of preparedness in areas of resilience. Managing the development and implementation of business continuity plans, critical service plans and supporting documents that are compliant with current legislation and audit requirements. Supporting training programmes to ensure compliance with statutory duties, regulatory requirements and County Council policies. Acting as the departmental Business Continuity Coordinator and assisting in the developing and implementing (as required) the department's Business Continuity Plan in the event of an incident and act as technical advisor to the divisional management team. Supporting senior managers in the delivery of projects, as and when required, to ensure the continued delivery of key services. The development, promotion, monitoring and audit of Health and Safety Plans. Providing leadership and management for outdoor education and crisis management in schools including the associated traded service offer. Please click the
