They offer a modern fleet of Crawler Cranes and Heavy Haulage transport service for various industries such as Civil Engineering, Building, Marine & Water, and more. Q Crane & Plant Hire provides equipment on a Self Drive or Operated basis with qualified operators and a dedicated transport department. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Heavy Plant/Crane Engineer in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom. The engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to the maintenance, operation, and repair of heavy plant equipment. The role will consist of a van with a general 50/50 split of depot work and on-site works. Qualifications Experience in operating and maintaining Crawler Cranes, Excavators, and Plant machinery Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the Construction Industry Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical/Electrical issues Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience with CITB / CPCS qualifications is a plus Relevant certifications or vocational training in Heavy Plant Engineering Seniority level
