Trainee Workshop Engineer (Forklift Assembly and PDI Technician/Engineer)

Location: Basingstoke

Salary: A GBP 29,000 - A GBP 36,000 Base + 6 Employer/4 Employee Pension + Overtime at Time 1.5 and 2.0 + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Life Assurance + Discount Benefits Scheme + Uniform + Training

Working Hours: 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday

A Trainee Workshop Engineer role is available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of materials handling equipment offering full training.

The role will suit those looking for a team-based culture offering training and progression opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Carry out PDIs on a range of trucks Occasional service and repair work Part of a team of 12 Maintain a clean workshop Order parts

Minimum Requirements: Ideally hold a level 2 or equivalent in mechanical, vehicle technician or similar discipline Mechanical fitting/assembly/machinery build experience of mechanical equipment
