Your new company I'm currently working with a service provider with a rich heritage, who provide tailored services across global ports. The company has been expanding for the last few years and has ambitious growth plans and, with this in mind, are looking to recruit an experienced HR Administrator.

Your new role You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the UK HR Manager, ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of HR services. This role involves handling various HR tasks, including employee records management, recruitment support, and assisting with HR projects and initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update employee records and HR databases. Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks. Prepare and process HR documents, such as employment contracts and onboarding materials. Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientation and training sessions. Respond to employee enquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration. Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs and performance management. Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. May also include travel to other ports either alone or with HR Manager. Experience of managing and handling internal grievances would be highly advantageous. What you'll need to succeed CIPD is desirable but not essential. Proven experience as an HR Administrator or in a similar role. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of HR best practices. The ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. What you'll get in return This is a full-time role and is fully office based. Salary 24,000 - 28,000 depending on experience. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private pension matched up to 8% and private medical as part of your package. What you need to do now
