We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join this manufacturing business in Hamilton, Leicester. You will be based in a state-of-the-art paper mill and converting facilities; there’s lots to get your teeth into, both PPM & reactive maintenance duties. The core focus of the role is to provide electrical support for both Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and efficient breakdown responses. Working in the papermill, you will be exposed to heavily industrial machinery with a lot of variety. Working a 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off shift pattern, you’ll be earning a salary of just over £50,000.

Duties of this Maintenance Engineer's Role: Provide an Electrical engineering service to the production team to achieve minimal downtime. Proactive in carrying out planned maintenance duties. Ensure you are commercially aware of budgets to maintain the right amount of spares. Look for ways to continuously improve efficiencies and reduce downtime. Collect and compile all data as requested. Encourage and motivate apprentices and offer assistance. Qualifications and Skills Needed for this Maintenance Engineer: Must hold a recognised Level 3 Engineering Qualification. Experience within a fast-paced environment. Experience in medium or heavy industry is preferable. Ability to work to tight deadlines & under pressure. Benefits of this Maintenance Engineer's Role: Salary £50,300 (including shift allowance). 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Paid overtime available. 21 shifts holiday plus bank holidays.
