Financial Controller:
Nottingham Grounds Maintenance is looking for a Financial Controller to join our team.

Job Description:
As a Financial Controller, you’ll be responsible for the internal day-to-day duties, including bank account reconciliation, using XERO accounting software, and ensuring payroll is completed. You will work alongside our external accountants to maintain an accurate and up-to-date reflection of our accounts. Your responsibilities will include:
Verifying & posting purchase invoices to the XERO system and resolving discrepancies with suppliers or order originators.
Reconciling and checking expense claims, ensuring VAT compliance and receipt accuracy.
Reconciling & chasing receipts and invoices for VAT purposes.
Monitoring budgets, identifying and reporting significant over or underspend.
Completing payroll and maintaining organised records.
Processing CIS contributions for both ourselves and sub-contractors.
Qualifications:
Proficiency with XERO Accounting Software.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
