Senior Employment Lawyer - Charities - Manchester
BCL Legal is working with this national law firm, recruiting a senior Employment Solicitor to join its growing Employment team in Manchester. This firm is renowned for its positive working culture.
The wider cross-office employment team works with clients across a broad range of sectors predominantly covering commercial, health, higher education, sports and charities. This role will focus on the charity and third sector and has arisen due to the continued growth of this client base nationally. The firm acts for over 250 different charities, including some really high profile names, and this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer to join at a senior level.
You will lead on client support and delivery and help to develop more junior members of the team, as well as getting involved in the annual programme of training, seminars and legal updates to clients and target clients. There are also plenty of other business development opportunities.
The work is broad and varied to include contentious and non-contentious employment work.
The team is looking for someone with at least 4 years' PQE in employment law. Experience acting on behalf of charity and third sector clients would be an advantage but isn't essential.
This is a great growth opportunity as it's a real growth area for the firm and the role offers genuine career progression.
