Job Reward £68k - £72k Target Plus £6,600 Car and Package. Up to £100k package including Bonus potential. Job Title: Site Engineering Manager

Location: Shropshire. Contract Type: Permanent. Client: Category Global Market leader in FMCG manufacturing. Reporting to the UK Group Head of Engineering, you will be the Site Engineering Excellence & Change Manager. This role offers a genuine opportunity to lead engineering change, reliability, and maintenance activities on-site within a progressive manufacturing business. Key Responsibilities:

Leading the engineering technical change agenda for the site, including maintenance activities to improve line performance. Change management, leadership, and stakeholder engagement. Drive engineering performance improvements, lead projects, and manage multi-million-pound budgets. Responsible for setting the engineering strategy and maximising production through maintenance of site assets. Ensure engineering resources and technical skill set are maximised. Develop autonomous maintenance programmes. Continuous improvement and reengineering in all processes. Develop with factory management to optimise plant productive capacity. Create, implement, and manage the engineering maintenance strategy. Monitor operational efficiency of all plant and equipment. Develop engineering skills through a structured people development programme. Integrate engineers and line operators into ‘one team’ through autonomous maintenance techniques. Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience in delivering major cultural and leadership change. Experience in leading technical frontline maintenance and project teams. Track record of using advanced manufacturing techniques (e.g., WCM/TPM/Lean). HNC/HND in an engineering discipline minimum. Background in engineering management within a time-sensitive, 24/7 complex manufacturing environment. A confident leader, decision maker, and influencer. Track record of delivering continuous improvement and engineering performance. Engineering leadership at a senior level in a manufacturing environment. Strategic influencer with potential for more senior roles. What We Can Offer:
