You will: Collaborate with a wide range of partners, taking a whole-system approach to improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND. Work through the SEND & Inclusion model to ensure children known to their local SEND & inclusion Hub are supported to have their needs met earlier. Enhance the support mainstream schools can access to meet the needs of children with SEND through an enhanced pre-statutory support pathway (before Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan), known as the Enhanced Assess Plan Do Review (EAPDR) Pathway. Focus on the SEND & Inclusion model and lead on how new developments will be achieved and managed through commissioning arrangements. In this role, you will likely have a focus on Speech and Language provision in Staffordshire; however, there will be flexibility to work across a number of our priorities. The Ideal Candidate
You will: be passionate about improving outcomes for children & young people with SEND; be well organized; be proactive; have great communication skills; be able to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including children, young people, and their parents/carers. Ideally, you should also have one of the below: experience in commissioning, with a strong understanding of commissioning processes and the ability to manage and lead commissioning projects. knowledge about the SEND landscape and the challenges faced by children and young people with SEND.
