Children's Social Work Team - Senior Practitioner

Medway Council are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Children's Social Work Team - Senior Practitioner looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. This Children's Social Work Team - Senior Practitioner role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.

Children's Social Work Team - Senior Practitioner Role Main Purpose: Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of vulnerable children and young people through the provision of high-quality social work practice, supporting them to achieve their full potential, living within their family if safe to do so. Participate in effective partnership working and engagement and to work collaboratively with a range of organisations, statutory and voluntary in delivering services to children and young people. Comply with legislation, statutory guidance and local policies and procedures. Be competent in all areas of the PCF at Experienced Social Worker level and The Knowledge and Skills Statement (KSS) for approved child and family practitioners. Minimum Requirements: 3-5 years post qualifying experience working in Children's Services. SWE Registration. Hybrid working - 2/3 days a week in the office + 5 days a week when on duty (if applicable). Full UK driving license plus access to a vehicle, business cover (including carrying passengers).
