Full-time, permanent (37 hours per week) All roles have a £2.4k market supplement (paid £200 p/m) Salaries (per annum): Newly Qualified: £31,099 - £32,909 Social Worker: £34,723 - £36,298 Senior Practitioner: £36,371 - £38,553 Sanctuary Personnel are currently seeking a Social Work Senior Practitioner to join a dedicated Planned Care Team in various locations across Ceredigion. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families within the community. Role Overview: As a Senior Social Work Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in upholding statutory duties outlined in relevant social care legislation. Your responsibilities will include assessing, supporting, and safeguarding vulnerable individuals, as well as providing assistance to families facing significant difficulties. Working within legal frameworks and policy guidelines, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the safety and protection of those in need. Key Responsibilities: Operational Delivery: Assist individuals and families in overcoming daily challenges. Conduct inquiries and intervene to protect vulnerable individuals. Collaborate with professionals and agencies within the Signs of Safety model. Advocate for service users and provide necessary information and advice. Establish close working relationships with other agencies in multi-disciplinary settings. Quality Assurance: Ensure support meets assessed needs and evaluate service user satisfaction. Assess and manage risk, developing safeguarding plans where necessary. Maintain accurate records in compliance with service requirements. General Responsibilities: Foster partnership working with colleagues and agencies. Uphold dignity in care principles and safeguarding policies. Remain informed about Liberty Protection Safeguards procedures. Attend team meetings, supervision sessions, and training courses for professional development. Person Specification: Essential: Degree in social work or equivalent qualification. Proficiency in Welsh and English. Registration with Social Care Wales. Strong communication and analytical skills. Knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures. Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary setting. Flexibility, proactive attitude, and ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in IT skills. Required Experience: Experience in building relationships with service users and multi-agency working. Understanding of relevant legislation. Desirable: Ability to work effectively in a team. Capability to work remotely, including access to reliable broadband. Training/Education: Completion of CPEL 1st years in practice.
