Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes or care facilities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of home care practices and the ability to develop and implement care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, along with the ability to drive and utilise IT for documentation and reporting purposes. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management. Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition using IT systems. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care. Support clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events to enhance their quality of life. Monitor clients' health status and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals promptly. Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations. Requirements Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Proficiency in IT for documentation purposes; familiarity with care management software is an advantage. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between client locations. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
