Karntek Ltd is a fire safety consultancy located in Stafford. We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our growing team. This role is essential for providing high-quality technical assistance to our internal teams, overseeing the successful implementation and troubleshooting of IT Hardware and Software, ensuring that our staff are able to perform their roles and support the Business.

You will take end-to-end ownership of IT issues and see them through to resolution. You will be responsible for provisioning technology equipment for our colleagues and for diagnosing issues and providing solutions.

This position is ideal for individuals who are tech-savvy, have strong problem-solving skills, and have a passion for providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

Manage, maintain, and optimize IT systems and network infrastructure Ensure the security and integrity of company data and systems, implementing appropriate security measures Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to onsite and field based staff as necessary Oversee software installations, upgrades, and system integration Collaborate with departments to assess IT needs and propose solutions Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits to improve functionality Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure best practices are adhered to Own and manage IT asset register Support with procurement of software and hardware, including licenses Requirements

Proven experience in a technical support role or similar position Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Experience in the fire safety industry is a plus but not essential Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software Benefits

Base Salary £26,000 - £30,000 DOE Birthday leave On site parking Full time role but part time hours may be available for the right candidate Karntek is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
