Growth Marketing Manager

to join our team on a

part-time, contract, or retainer basis . This role is ideal for someone local to Glasgow who can travel for social content days and work flexibly to help us grow. About Sonus Events

Sonus Events, established in 2014, specialises in providing technical event production services such as lighting, sound, audio-visual, set and stage design, and more. We also offer creative event design concepts and production solutions for live events, conferences, parties, and other occasions. With over 15 years of experience in the events industry, our aim is to deliver exceptional value and flawless execution for our clients. Role Overview

We’re seeking a hands-on

Growth Marketing Manager

to drive our marketing efforts and help take Sonus Events to the next level. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies, analysing performance, and building engaging content that connects with our audience. Our marketing philosophy:

Test, analyse, optimise, scale. Key Responsibilities

We’ve broken this role into core focus areas to help you understand priorities: 1. Social Media & Content Creation

Research and brainstorm ideas for engaging social content. Create and schedule posts using tools like Canva, Blaze, or Adobe Creative Suite. Capture content during events (basic photography/video skills preferred). Edit videos using tools like CapCut or similar. Manage audience engagement through comments, DMs, and community building. Write video scripts. 2. Marketing Strategy & Campaigns

Develop and implement a marketing plan in collaboration with the director. Manage and optimise results-focused campaigns (e.g., referral marketing, email marketing). Collaborate with our SEO expert to improve visibility. Plan and execute email marketing campaigns. Write compelling copy for socials, newsletters, and PR. 3. Analytics & Optimisation

Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance and analytics. Identify areas for improvement and optimisation based on results. 4. Website & Collaboration

Support website content updates alongside our web developer. Write articles and blog pieces. What We're Looking For

A

results-driven

marketing professional with proven experience in digital marketing. Passion and excitement for growth marketing techniques. Creativity and attention to detail. Strong communication and organisational skills. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently. Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools.
