What you will be doing? We are seeking a talented Audit Assistant Manager to join our Audit team in our Tunbridge Wells office. In your role, you will lead audits of companies from a variety of sectors and industries. You will be responsible for the planning, fieldwork and completion stages of the audit, reporting to the audit manager and managing your team during the fieldwork stage, reviewing their work and supporting them with their learning. As Audit Assistant Manager, some of your responsibilities will include: Regular discussions with the client to confirm progress, identify solutions to any hurdles and ensure reasonable expectations are met. Identify and highlight any opportunities for Evelyn Partners apparent from work undertaken. Assist and perform training of junior staff. Complete assessment forms of audit team. Perform work in accordance with Evelyn Partners audit and assignment procedures. Prepare draft accounts/report and completion memo (including identification of control weaknesses or areas of improvement) for review by manager. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent. Demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within a professional services firm with experience in FRS102 and IFRS. Excellent communication skills, both internally and directly with clients. Capacity to manage projects and to generate engagement with the stakeholders. Demonstrable experience of supervising others and delegation of work. Clear ability to organize self and others, such that you can work on several different assignments at one time. Desired Driver's license as you will need to visit clients on-site.
