Task description: Conduct detailed inventory analyses

for interconnect products tailored to the Mil/Aero sector, ensuring optimal availability to reduce stockouts while improving inventory turnover to meet critical project demands.

Drive growth in Mil/Aero sales

by strategically managing and expanding the supplier portfolio, focusing on high-reliability components essential to aerospace and defense applications.

Serve as the primary supplier liaison

for interconnect products, coordinating technical product information, consultations, and support for field and inside sales teams to meet stringent industry standards.

Support customer design-in processes , providing expert consulting during visits to integrate connector solutions that meet Mil/Aero specifications and operational needs.

Develop and implement competitive strategies , leveraging market insights to strengthen positioning in the aerospace and defense industry while guiding the team with actionable recommendations.

Lead and participate in supplier meetings,

including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), to ensure alignment on goals, maintain compliance, and foster robust supplier relationships.

Collaborate on marketing initiatives

for assigned product lines, enhancing visibility and driving demand within the Mil/Aero market segment.

Conduct product training sessions

tailored to Mil/Aero requirements, equipping the team with in-depth knowledge of technical specifications and customer priorities.

Prepare and present monthly KPI reports,

delivering insights on performance metrics relevant to the aerospace and defense market to inform strategic decisions.

Act as the system expert

for CRM/TELNET tools, providing guidance on usage to optimize sales and operational efficiency for Mil/Aero-focused activities.

Support onboarding of new hires,

delivering targeted training and ensuring seamless integration into the team, with an emphasis on Mil/Aero product knowledge and processes.

Provide leadership coverage as needed,

ensuring continuity in operations and addressing team requirements in the absence of managers or team leaders.

Offer ongoing support as a Subject Matter Expert (SME),

addressing technical and operational inquiries specific to the Mil/Aero market, fostering expertise within the team.

Minimum Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in VAD interconnect distribution business. Successfully completed business and/or technical education. Strong comprehension skills, strong communication skills, ability to work in a team environment. Experience in design-in and supplier management. Independent working behavior, process-oriented and strategic thinking ability. Market know-how and knowledge of interconnect or electromechanical products is essential. Ability to communicate in English and local language (other European languages would be an advantage). In-depth knowledge of company processes and systems (CRM/TELNET). Ability to train and support new hires. Additional Information: Willingness to travel European-wide for training, meetings and team support up to 20% of the time.
