Overview: This is an exciting role for an accomplished and senior marketer to play a leading role in the continued and rapid growth of WaterWipes’ revenue, profitability and market share across the UKI & N Europe Region. Geographically, the role covers the North European markets; some of which have been identified as strategic markets for WaterWipes and will form an important source of growth for the business in the next few years. The Brand Acceleration Manager for UKI & North Europe will drive our brand across multiple categories and deliver our growth ambitions across strategic and emerging markets in Europe. You will have strong marketing and commercial foundations but also the ability to be entrepreneurial and create opportunities to insert the brand into cultural moments to win with consumers. You will be responsible for building a category leading brand position for WaterWipes in these key European markets and developing others for future potential. Working closely with the market-specific brand managers, the shopper team and portfolio teams, you will lead in the delivery of best-in-class execution of distinctive brand campaigns that deliver across brand awareness, penetration & market share goals. The ideal candidate will be a brand strategy fanatic, a true collaborator, commercially minded and an inspiring leader of others in helping us realise our vision as a brand! Key areas of accountability: Building the consolidated strategic brand & portfolio plan for UK, Ireland & select Northern European markets and executing it across our paid, owned and earned channels, our partnerships, and all brand touchpoints. Driving our Global Marketing strategy & objectives by shaping them to excite and engage consumers and build awareness & relevance in market. Develop and execute tactics which positively raise the profile of WaterWipes within the category, sub-categories & markets they are deployed, maximising reach & penetration, and reinforcing WaterWipes’ unrivalled skin protection credentials as the only wipes for sensitive skin. Lead the team of brand managers to ensure all brand activations support and enhance our brand distinctiveness and positioning within the category, leveraging our distinctive assets consistently across all channels; ensure there is one, shared vision of the brand, and empower internal teams and partners to bring this to life. Unite and align teams, demonstrating strong leadership and a global-local enterprise approach. Managing the consolidated A&CP budget with recommendations on phasing, investment & budget allocation that drives effectiveness, efficiency & ROI. Demonstrating leadership capabilities, showcasing the ability to work and influence across a matrixed organisation to ensure that the needs of your markets are known and catered for. Owning stakeholder relationships as you manage multi-functional local and global teams, distributors, and agency partners. Work with cross functional teams & colleagues to drive total business results, manage difficult conversations & bring positive outcomes that drive the brand. Delivery of global portfolio strategy working with the Portfolio Acceleration Manager to ensure sufficiency and efficiency of portfolio across your markets. Ability to build business cases for launches, set clear KPIs and success criteria for each business case, and post launch monitoring and feedback on actual vs. projected to continuously improve. Take ownership of the local Pre-S&OP process for your markets to maximize brand effectiveness across the region. Setting clear activity objectives and KPIs, monitoring and evaluating activities and making clear recommendations- optimising future activity. Staying on top of category and market trends and sharing relevant ideas and recommendations with the wider team. This is not an exhaustive list and may be subject to change and amendment. Experience & Qualifications: A proven track record in developing brands in a FMCG/CPG business environment Experience in project management, delivering against objectives P&L Management Stakeholder Management is key, and agency management experience is essential Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong commercial acumen Proven campaign delivery and success against KPIs Experience of maximising Portfolios of existing products, line extensions & NPD Fluency (spoken and written) in English is mandatory (other languages such as French are desirable but not essential) Flexibility to travel (role has expected travel of c.10%) Third Level Marketing/Business studies qualification Ability to work in Matrix and highly collaborative organisation Competencies to perform the role: Accountability
